According to Priscilla Sallee's obituary, she was born at Claysville, Indiana on January 2, 1847. It states that she was survived by five children: two daughters and three sons, as follows: A.M. VanCleave, of Galesburg, Charles of Springfield, Minn.; Althea, Hattie (Mrs. W.R.) Hackney and Earl all of Chanute. One daughter died in 1915. Stella Melinda was born 1875 (?)
Priscilla Catherine Sailee was David Samuel VanCleave's wife. Priscilla's parents were Edward M. Salee and Christina McCoy. (*Her maiden name is spelled three different ways)
